Breakfast at Hemingway’s
Woke to another beautiful sunrise this morning! Unfortunately, there’s wires in the photo. Once I get my bike I’m going to try and make it down to Grace Bay Beach for some spectacular sunrise pictures. In the meantime, it’s not so bad waking up to this!

Sunrise from our deck
We decided to go to Hemingway’s this morning for breakfast. I love dining at this restaurant in the morning because of the beach views.
We parked and walked through The Sands Resort grounds because they’re so beautiful.

The Sands Resort

Coming up to the Beach. That's Hemingway's Restaurant on the left.
Just soothes your soul to be sitting there feeling the soft breeze from the ocean and listening to the lapping of the water, feasting your eyes on beauty that still astounds me each time I encounter it.

Not a bad start to the day, right?!? I’m loving it so much here right now! It’s so great to be outdoors surrounded by nature each and every day!
Another Day in Paradise
It doesn’t get much better than this folks! From sunrise to sunset…perfection.
I haven’t done much traveling around on this trip…I’ve been working online most of the time, yet with views like this and being able to take a break down by the beach or a short jacuzzi dunk…it hasn’t felt much like work!
I am so looking forward to living and working here full time!
Turks and Caicos Sunrise
Well I’m back in Montreal and missing Turks and Caicos already! Here’s a sunrise I just caught on the day I left the Islands.
This is the only sunrise picture I snapped…I’m hoping now that Oscar (John’s puppy) is getting him up early, John will try and capture a few more sunrises.
This was such a surreal sunrise that I rubbed my eyes a couple of times to make sure I was seeing the colors I was seeing.
If you want to see some great Turks and Caicos sunrises check out Two Gringos in the Caribbean…their blog and tropical island pictures are spectacular!
Before I return to TCI in October to live, I’ll be picking up a much better camera and will hopefully find a place to live that will afford me some spectacular photo ops of sunrises and sunsets.
I’ve been telling Chakra about Oscar in the hopes that when we move on Island in October she’ll already feel like she knows him and we won’t have any kind of posturing or domination issues.
Chakra’s so used to being the only animal in our lives that she tends to get a bit huffy if another animal, like my son’s dog Zorro, comes in and takes the attention off of her. She also seems to think that John is her’s and her’s alone…so I’m not sure she’ll take kindly to Oscar being John’s number 1.
I for one am looking forward to seeing her in Turks and Caicos. She’s a water dog and doesn’t get much of a chance to play in the water here. So I know that the beaches are going to be like paradise for her. I never see her happier than when she’s able to run and play in the water. Actually, I’m the same way.
